Members of the Editorial Board of the Namibia Law Journal are appointed by the Board of Trustees. Although the trustees exercise supervisory administrative powers over the Editorial Board, their powers do not extent to the content of the Namibia Law Journal. In the latter regard, the Editorial Board is required to act independently and is subject only to the laws of Namibia. 

The Editorial Board, insofar as it deems it expedient, allows it to be advise by a advisory panel of peer reviewers appointed by it from time to time.
